Community is at the heart of AMI, and our recent company-wide diaper drive was a shining example of that commitment in action. Throughout the month of May, teams from across our footprint united to collect diapers, wipes and other essential baby items for local organizations that support mothers, babies and children in need.

We are proud to share that we contributed to six local agencies across the Midwest, totaling 5,679 diapers, 15,322 wipes and 258 miscellaneous baby items in donations.

We’re proud to celebrate our team’s incredible efforts from this initiative:

Our Emulsicoat location in Benton, IL donated their collections to CASA, an organization that supports children entering the foster care system throughout Southern Illinois. Their thoughtful contributions are helping provide comfort and care to children during critical times.

In St. Elmo, IL, the Emulsicoat team collected items for the Lighthouse Pregnancy Center, an organization dedicated to supporting women during and after pregnancy. The team’s enthusiasm and dedication were evident in every donation, and their efforts will go a long way in supporting expecting mothers in their community.

Emulsicoat at Urbana, IL collected diapers and baby wipes for the Vermillion County Health Department in Danville, Illinois. Thanks to their generosity, many babies in the area will have the essentials they need to stay clean and healthy.

Laketon Refining Corp., an Asphalt Materials, Inc. company, had a great time collecting items for Babe of Wabash County which works to promote good health, education and relationships with families in the community.

In Warsaw, IN, the AMI team made a powerful impact by donating to the Beaman Home, a nonprofit that supports survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Kosciusko, Marshall and Fulton Counties. Their contributions are helping provide safety and support to families in crisis.

Asphalt Materials, Inc. headquarters in Indianapolis, IN collected donations for the Indiana Diaper Bank, providing a reliable and adequate supply of diapering essentials to families in Indiana.

We are incredibly moved by the participation of our team — their donations have made such an impact on the lives of families across our communities. When we come together to support families in need, we give back to our communities while also building a culture rooted in compassion, collaboration and meaningful action.
