The AMI Lab is a network of research and testing facilities throughout the Midwest, ensuring quality control across locations and serving as our technical backbone. Located on site at many of our terminal locations, these labs handle routine testing, while our lab network can manage everything from customer support to product research and development. Our lab teams evaluate thousands of asphalt samples annually to confirm state and project specifications are consistently met and can quickly adapt to market changes or specific project needs.
For larger-scale projects or more in-depth testing, we leverage the additional technical expertise of the Heritage Research Group (HRG). The partnership between our sales team and HRG gives you access to a range of specialized labs, each focused on different aspects of asphalt and pavement technology. This collaboration ensures that your projects benefit from the latest research and cutting-edge products and techniques, keeping them at the forefront of industry standards. As a result of this partnership, our lab services span a wide range of capabilities.
We work directly on your projects to ensure success, from taking cores for recycling projects to developing products that improve safety, performance, and lifecycle.
