As we celebrate Veteran’s Day, we want to recognize the many AMI employees and their family members that have bravely and selflessly served our country. We express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the courage, commitment, and sacrifices you and your families have made. Although we formally honor you on this special day, please know that we appreciate and thank you for your service every day of the year.

We loved hearing from our AMI team as they shared their photos for our collage. You’ll see one of our Regional Safety Director’s, Crystal Hudak landing a helicopter on the Bering Sea.

“I probably have some wrenches in my cargo pockets so the rotor wash didn’t pick me up!”

John Washuta, Our Director of Operations shared a photo of himself wearing his 1981 Class Hat and diploma from West Point in the background.

Julie Mackey from our lab at Marietta South shared a photo of herself stating,

” I was only a few kilometers from the DMZ in Korea!”

Mark Banton from Meigs shared how proud he was to serve in the US Navy from 1971-1975 Flight deck USS IWO JIMA. Kurt Smith served in the U.S. Air Force from 1987 – 2007.

As a sign of our appreciation, we sent a gift to our group of Veterans on behalf of all of us at Asphalt Materials. We honor our teammates that have served and are still serving today. We hope everyone on our AMI team has a chance today to reflect on what Veteran’s Day means and to send along appreciation to those that have served.

Proudly, we are AMI!
