April had many safety and health awareness initiatives. It is thought of as the beginning of Spring and the start of construction season. More people are typically out and about this time of year. Asphalt Materials, Inc. (AMI) announced today that on November 12th it completed the acquisition of three asphalt terminals from a subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corporation. The purchase of these facilities further expands AMI’s capabilities in the Indiana and Illinois markets and its footprint in the Midwest. AMI plans to retain the current leadership team and employees at all three terminals and will continue to invest in and grow the product suite and capabilities at those sites.
This Veteran’s Day, we pause and salute all who have served our country through military service. To all those who have sacrificed to protect this great country, past and present – we are grateful for you.
Nothing makes us prouder than to say we have veterans among us who choose to work for Asphalt Materials. We genuinely admire your service. On Veterans Day and every day, we honor and thank you.
