What’s your favorite thing about being a part of the AMI family?
AMI truly has the culture that we are all working as one and we are a family. Everyone helps everyone no matter what.
What are the main drivers of success in the company?
The main driver that I have seen in my time here is we are always trying to find the newest way to do anything. We are always trying to fine the next best thing before anyone else.
In what ways is your team working well collaboratively?
We are all working towards a common goal that will ultimately make everyone’s day easier and safer so it was easy to get everyone to buy in with my team.
What was your greatest accomplishment at work that you’re proud of?I’m proud to have complete a Greenbelt project for AMI, I will be the third person to have ever done that till this point.
What do you hope to accomplish over the coming year?
I’m hoping to be apart of more Lean Six Sigma projects and solve some more customer/ Business issues.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
It was a quote given to me when I was first training in College for Softball my coach use to drill in my mind, “Perfection is not attainable. But if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.” If you ask anyone at AMI that knows me, they will say yes, that makes sense!
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
I’m a homebody so normally you will find me at home in my workshop learning how to build new things but when I do go out, you will find me hiking/ kayaking or on a beach.
What is one hobby you’d love to get into or that you currently do?
I am currently teaching myself carpentry skills. I have made so far, some benches, Bedframes, Built in bookcases for my study, and our kitchen nook.
What trend do you hope makes a comeback?
I don’t think I hope it comes back but it is funny now to see the Mullet making a come back if so I ever need one I know I will still look awesome.
What’s your favorite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
I love NCAA basketball and I’m a Duke fan.
